They are currently seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Install Technician (Construction Technician) to join the dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in Project Preplanning: Engage in the early stages of project planning to ensure all necessary resources and steps are accounted for
- Lead Project Execution: Oversee the implementation of assigned projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
- Customer Issue Resolution: Identify and address customer concerns promptly, escalating issues as needed to ensure resolution
- Coordination with Other Trades: Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Control Wire Installation: Run control wiring according to industry standards to guarantee safety and functionality
- Conduit and Fittings Installation: Install conduits and fittings in compliance with industry norms
- Device Mounting and Termination: Mount and terminate controllers, sensors, and end devices effectively
- Troubleshooting: Utilize test instruments to diagnose and resolve wiring and termination issues in field-installed equipment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation of Building Automation / HVAC Controls
- Tridium Niagara Certified preferred
- Experience with the controllers Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls and/or Tosibox
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
