AI robotics company Figure has given an update on its Figure 02 humanoid robots.

Figure claims its autonomous fleet is now 400% faster and boasts a seven-fold increase in success rate, marking a significant milestone in the deployment of humanoid robots in both commercial and domestic settings.

The Figure 02 robot, unveiled approximately three months ago, represents the company’s second generation of humanoid robotics.

Designed for application in both commercial environments and the home, Adcock believes these innovative machines will revolutionise everyday life, likening their impact to being “like living 30 years in the future.”

Adcock emphasised Figure’s dedication to moving forward with the mass production of the Figure 02 robots.

“We are fully committed to shipping F.02 robot into the market and building a viable company. One day we will manufacture millions of humanoid robots that will be deployed into commercial customers and the home,” promises Adcock.

The progress in the Figure 02’s capabilities is nothing short of remarkable. Now four times faster and seven times more accurate, these robots are demonstrating significantly higher reliability.

Figure is currently executing “1000 placements/day, fully autonomous,” according to Adcock. This number is expected to grow as the company gathers more data and refines its AI models.

Adcock outlines the company’s focus on hardening its fleet operational readiness: “Daily, we deploy F.02 robots on physical/digital twins, replicating the exact environments found at our customer sites.”

To achieve its ambitious goals, Figure is actively seeking top engineering talent from around the world.

Adcock says that Figure is currently scaling up by hiring as many as 100 engineers across various sectors, including AI, software engineering, controls, mechanical, systems integration, and fleet operations.
