Edison Smart are partnered with a growing Building Technology business who are actively looking for a Sales Executive to join their Houston team.

You’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and selling fire alarm systems and fire suppression / sprinklers. You’ll work directly with building owners, property managers, contractors, and developers to understand their needs and offer tailored life safety solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, a strong work ethic, and an interest in fire and life safety technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new customers across commercial, industrial, and residential markets.
  • Sell fire alarm systems, inspections, service agreements, and monitoring packages.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, facility managers, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct site visits and customer consultations to assess fire protection needs.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams for successful project execution.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain accurate CRM records.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fire alarm, low voltage, security, or building services.
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems and relevant codes (NFPA 72, local AHJ requirements) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally throughout the Houston area
