About the Opportunity
Edison Smart are partnered with a high-growth SaaS company is powering the future of IoT connectivity with a platform designed for speed, simplicity, and scale. As part of their nimble, high-velocity sales team, we’re looking for an Account Executive who thrives on qualified inbound leads, knows how to close business fast, and has a strong grasp of connectivity or wireless technology.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who loves qualifying opportunities, running tight discovery and demo calls, and converting warm interest into real revenue. You’ll help drive the inbound motion while collaborating with customer success and partner teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads within a 1-hour SLA
- Conduct discovery calls, demos & build a $5M+ pipeline
- Close $3M+ in inbound revenue within your first 12 months
- Generate proposals, negotiate contracts & maintain high conversion rates (50% SQL→Closed)
- Partner with Customer Success for onboarding & early support
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in enterprise or channel sales (IoT, SaaS, wireless, or connectivity solutions)
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales quotas
- CRM power user with excellent pipeline management skills
- Consultative selling approach with technical buyers
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment
