Edison Smart are hiring for an Automation Technician for a leading Oil & Gas company in Midland, TX

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automation equipment and control systems
• Work with SCADA systems to monitor and control processes in real time
• Support PLC programming and HMI interface updates (mainly Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• Perform routine maintenance on control systems
• Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to identify automation improvements
• Help with system upgrades, testing, and documentation
