Edison Smart are partnered with a growing Building Automation and HVAC business located in Charlotte, North Carolina who are looking to hire a Building Automation Technician to join their growing team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform startup and commissioning of BAS systems including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operations
• Configure, program, and calibrate control devices and sensors
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to deliver quality installations on schedule
• Document all commissioning activities and provide support during project turnover

Qualifications:

• Experience in BAS startup/commissioning or related field
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and control sequences
• Experience with control platforms such as Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
