They are currently seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Service Technician (Service Technician) to join the dynamic team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complex Problem Solving: Provide solutions to very complex BAS/HVAC Controls system problems, either by troubleshooting the system or advising others on how to resolve issues. This role requires a thorough understanding of systems software to write or recommend modifications as needed
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers on-site, ensuring their needs are understood and met
  • Proactive Customer Interaction: Engage in continuous proactive interaction with customers to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs, wants, and the systems currently in place
  • Technical Support for Engineering and Sales: Assist engineering and sales teams by providing technical recommendations to produce job layouts and bid proposals
  • Project Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project execution according to plan, budget, and customer satisfaction, reporting any problems or changes to management
  • Commissioning and Servicing: Perform other duties related to the commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities management systems as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation of Building Automation Controls
  • Tridium Niagara Certification preferred
  • Experience with controllers such as Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and/or Tosibox
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
