Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, access control, and security systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults or malfunctions in automation controls to ensure optimal system performance
- Perform regular maintenance checks and system upgrades, including software updates and calibration of equipment
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and building owners to deliver customized solutions that enhance building efficiency and occupant comfort
- Interpret technical specifications, schematics, and system documentation
- Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to colleagues and clients as needed
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, preventative maintenance, and system modifications
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with building automation systems (BAS/BMS), ideally across HVAC, lighting, and security platforms
- Strong technical background in control systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and programming languages (Java, Python, or similar is a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- Relevant technical qualification (vocational, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in electronics, HVAC, or automation)
