Edison Smart are looking to hire a Building Automation Sales Manager (Enterprise) to join a growing business located in the USA
As the Sales Manager, you will lead sales efforts and develop relationships with Enterprise business across the Central and Western Regions of the US within the Building Automation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales Strategy: Drive and execute the sales strategy for building automation solutions targeting enterprise-level clients in the USA.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers, including building owners, facility managers, and large enterprises.
- Sales Leadership: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
- Product Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on building automation technologies, including energy management systems, smart building solutions, and integrated control systems.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to ensure seamless solutions and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales quotas while developing new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record of successful sales in the building automation, IoT, smart building, or related industries (5+ years preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of enterprise-level building automation solutions and the technology behind them.
- Sales Acumen: Strong ability to negotiate, close deals, and build lasting relationships with large organizations.
- Leadership: Ability to manage and mentor a growing sales team while working independently.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and site visits across the USA.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or similiar
- Mechanical and Building Automation Systems knowledg
Ideal candidate would have previous experience working for OEMs and have a warm netowrk of client relaitonships within the Central and West US. The Ideal candidate would also have knowledge of several BAS control lines, Data analytics or smart builidngs platforms.
