Job Title: Embedded Engineer (Zephyr Platform)
Location: Grenoble, France
Duration: 12+ months
Working Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Edison Smart are looking for an Embedded Engineer to drive embedded software development on the Zephyr RTOS platform. You will design, develop, and maintain tools, code, and processes to support industrial IoT solutions, ensuring technical excellence, scalability, and alignment with open-source practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead embedded development on the Zephyr platform.
- Define architecture, methodologies, and CI/CD processes.
- Write and maintain developer/user documentation.
- Develop and execute tests (white box, unit).
- Review and validate pull requests.
- Support project teams and promote platform adoption.
Essential Skills
- Strong embedded software experience on MCU targets.
- RTOS expertise (task scheduling, synchronization).
- Proficient in C; working knowledge of Python.
- Git, CI/CD, automated builds.
- Linux (POSIX, device tree, open-source licensing).
- Fluent in English (B2/C1).

- Zephyr RTOS experience.
- Open-source contribution history.
