Location: Dallas, Texas (with travel across Central Texas as needed)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 (DOE)

About the Opportunity We are representing a well-established, nationally recognized construction and facility services provider in search of an experienced Estimator to join their team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity ideal for a professional with strong experience in both commercial construction and building automation systems who is comfortable collaborating across disciplines and traveling regionally as needed.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates for construction and BAS projects
• Review specifications, drawings, and RFPs to develop scope and pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on estimates
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs
• Support bid submissions, preconstruction meetings, and handoffs to operations
• Travel across Central Texas for site walks, scope reviews, and client meetings (as needed)

Ideal Candidate

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction and/or BAS
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, electrical, and mechanical scopes
• Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or equivalent)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specs, and project documents
• Willing and able to travel periodically across Central Texas
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design-build or negotiated contract environments
• Background in building automation or MEP estimating strongly preferred
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus
• OSHA 10/30, LEED, or PMP certifications (a bonus)
