FREELANCE BESS/EMS ENGINEER – 6-Month Contract (Hybrid / Texas)
Edison Smart is looking for a Freelance Engineer with hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) to support utility-scale energy projects in Texas. You’ll play a key role in deploying cutting-edge clean energy infrastructure.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in BESS or EMS systems (design, integration, or commissioning)
- Experience with industrial automation (PLC/SCADA/DCS systems)
- Able to work with minimal supervision, both on-site and remotely
- Located in the U.S. with valid work authorization
The Details:
- 6-month initial contract (high chance of extension)
- Competitive daily rate
- Hybrid work (remote + occasional site visits in Texas)
- Immediate start preferred
