Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer – Data Centres

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to manage mechanical commissioning activities on Data Centre projects. You will lead HVAC, cooling, airflow, plumbing, and related system commissioning, acting as the on-site technical authority and primary interface with the client and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all mechanical commissioning and testing: HVAC, cooling, airflow, piping, plumbing
- Coordinate stakeholders (contractors, vendors, clients) and drive commissioning progress
- Review and validate design documents (BoD, OPR, schematics, etc.)
- Develop and execute test scripts, ITPs, and FATs
- Ensure compliance with commissioning specifications and client requirements
- Oversee handover of systems with complete documentation and sign-offs
- Align local commissioning approach with global standards
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years’ experience in mechanical commissioning (Data Centre preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems; basic electrical knowledge a plus
- Familiarity with commissioning platforms (e.g., CxAlloy, Procore, Aconex)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
