Network System Integration Engineer

An established and fast-growing data centre infrastructure provider is seeking a skilled Network System Integration Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and optimisation of critical systems across their Melbourne-based facilities.
This is a key technical role focused on ensuring seamless communication between IT, building systems, and infrastructure networks within mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support network and system integration solutions across data centre sites
- Deploy and maintain LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and security infrastructure
- Integrate building systems (BMS, access control, CCTV) with core IT networks
- Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, and security issues
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to support commissioning and upgrades
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, documentation, and ongoing optimisation
- Ensure compliance with uptime, security, and operational standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in network integration, systems engineering, or similar infrastructure roles
- Proficiency with networking technologies (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet)
- Understanding of data centre environments, structured cabling, and hardware integration
- Experience working with BMS, security systems, or DCIM tools is highly valued
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP) are a bonus
