SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Location: Florida, US
Position Type: Full-time, Exempt

Edison Smart is representing a leader in the HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) space, known for innovation, reliability, and excellence in building performance. This key role interfaces with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, provide sales support, and manage ongoing energy analytics initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Agreement (SA) Management:

  • Schedule Sales-to-Ops turnover meetings
  • Set up new agreements using internal software and processes
  • Conduct SA kick-off meetings with customers
  • Coordinate all scheduled visits on the SA Master Load Calendar
  • Ensure execution of contractual SA visits, quoted work, T&M jobs, and emergency site visits
  • Prepare both customers and technicians for upcoming visits
  • Collaborate with Service Account Executives to assess customer needs
  • Plan and schedule follow-up visits as required
  • Maintain thorough records of service work and customer interactions
  • Deliver and explain service documentation to clients
  • Respond promptly to emergency service requests

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and review monthly financial reports for all assigned SAs
  • Conduct routine audits on active agreements
  • Participate in management reviews of financial performance
  • Coordinate with the Service Admin team to ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proven ability to manage a service portfolio of $300K–$550K across multiple clients
  • Strong knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems fundamentals
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable balancing long-term project work with urgent, reactive needs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Primarily office-based with regular travel to customer sites
  • Site visits may involve typical construction environments requiring use of PPE
  • Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs)
  • Extensive use of computers and related technology

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with building mechanical systems and controls
  • Account and/or project management experience
