Regional Support Specialist – Building Automation & Technical Support
120K – $130K + 10% Bonus
We’re looking for a Regional Support Specialist to join a fast-paced, technology-driven environment supporting smart building solutions. In this role, you’ll bridge technical expertise with client-facing service, helping customers maximize the value of advanced automation products.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Assist sales teams with product demos, training events, and technical sales calls
- Conduct on-site visits and virtual/in-person technical training sessions
- Develop and maintain training materials and up-to-date documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating when needed
- Act as a key liaison between customers, sales, and technical services teams
- Support the region’s sales growth through excellent service and training
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years of technical support or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, serial comms), Windows platforms
- Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel regionally and lift up to 50 lbs when needed
Preferred Extras:
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, Java, or database tools (SQL, MySQL)
- Background in HVAC, building controls, or electrical systems
