VP of Sales / Sales Director – IoT Connectivity (East Coast)
About the Role
Edison Smart are looking for a high-performing VP of Sales / Sales Director with strong IoT connectivity and M2M sales expertise to drive revenue growth across the East Coast. This senior sales leader will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, closing enterprise IoT deals, and scaling IoT connectivity solutions across key verticals.
You will collaborate closely with Edison Smart and other strategic partners to deliver end-to-end IoT connectivity solutions, co-develop go-to-market strategies, and accelerate joint sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a growth-driven IoT sales strategy for enterprise customers across the East Coast.
- Build and manage C-level relationships with strategic accounts to drive high-value IoT connectivity deals.
- Partner with Edison Smart and other IoT ecosystem leaders to create joint value propositions and pursue co-selling opportunities.
- Identify and close multi-million-dollar enterprise IoT and M2M connectivity deals in key industries.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performance IoT sales team; establish clear KPIs and revenue targets.
- Stay ahead of IoT market trends, 5G, eSIM, LPWAN, and connectivity innovations to refine sales strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and executive-level reporting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years in B2B technology or telecom sales, with at least 5 years in IoT connectivity, M2M, or enterprise telecom solutions.
- Proven track record of closing large enterprise IoT deals and building strategic partnerships.
- Existing network of IoT ecosystem partners, telecom operators, and system integrators.
- Prior experience collaborating with Edison Smart or similar IoT connectivity providers preferred.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Based on the East Coast with willingness to travel extensively.
