Sales Director – Telecom Software (Toronto, Canada)

We are looking for a Sales Director with proven experience in enterprise software and telecom connectivity solutions to drive growth across the Canadian telecom market. This role focuses on selling automation and network operations software that helps Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecom operators improve field workforce efficiency, infrastructure deployment, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development for telecom software and automation solutions in Canada.
- Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecom service providers.
- Develop new customer relationships and expand existing accounts through strategic account management.
- Work closely with key partners, such as Edison Smart, to deliver joint solutions and co-sell opportunities.
- Manage the full enterprise software sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Present ROI-driven proposals, cost-saving models, and digital transformation strategies to senior telecom executives.
- Stay informed on telecom technology trends, ensuring customers adopt the latest innovations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, or PaaS sales experience, ideally in telecom.
- Strong track record selling to Canadian Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecom operators.
- Executive-level relationships within the Canadian telecom industry.
- Knowledge of automation platforms, AI, or telecom field operations software is a plus.
- Deep understanding of telecom operations, engineering workflows, and infrastructure management.
- Proven ability to close complex enterprise deals and grow strategic accounts.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented approach to enterprise sales.
