Sales Engineer – Building Automation & Mechanical Systems
Renton, WA | Full Time | $85,000–$100,000 base + commission + car allowance

What You’ll Do:
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the trusted advisor for clients, helping them understand, plan, and implement effective building control systems. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build and maintain long-term B2B relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners
- Provide expert consultation on building control and mechanical systems
- Estimate control system hardware and installation costs based on plans and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Host presentations and industry seminars to inform and influence stakeholders
- Manage project financials and track performance
You’ll Thrive Here If You Have:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- A collaborative approach and ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of DDC control theory and mechanical system applications
Your Background Might Include:
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Hands-on experience with building or mechanical systems
- Prior B2B sales experience in a technical or engineering-related field
- Familiarity with DDC Control Theory & HVAC applications

Other Details:
- Monday–Friday, full-time, exempt role
- Local travel up to 30%, with occasional out-of-state trips
- 50% of time spent on job sites—must be comfortable in active construction environments and able to climb ladders and perform minor tool work
