Are you passionate about making machines smarter and operations more efficient? We’re looking for a Senior Equipment Technical Manager to drive high-impact hardware installations across fleets of heavy equipment and vehicles. This is a hands-on, leadership role at the intersection of engineering, innovation, and execution.
 

You’ll work with cutting-edge sensor and telematics technology, lead a team of sharp technicians, and manage end-to-end technical rollouts that directly impact operational performance for major industries—from construction to logistics.
 

Key Responsibilities will be:
 

  • Develop and implement hardware installation strategies tailored to client requirements and project scopes
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior technicians, promoting continuous learning and technical knowledge sharing
  • Assess resource needs and manage team tools, equipment, and technologies to ensure operational readiness
  • Oversee external installation partners and coordinate internal technical teams to meet delivery targets and maintain quality standards
  • Proactively troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to avoid project delays
  • Conduct thorough equipment inspections and produce detailed technical documentation and reports
  • Install and configure a variety of sensors and telematics devices on heavy machinery, vehicles, and generators

 
The successful candidate will have:
 

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems in vehicles and heavy equipment, including GPS tracking and sensor installations
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet management systems and related hardware technologies
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for vehicles and machinery
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and managing installation projects end-to-end
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues at the component level—both electrical and hydraulic
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic startup or scale-up environments
