Edison Smart are hiring a Senior Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician supporting our Midland operations. We’re looking for a skilled tech with deep experience in PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and smart field systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, and transmitters
- Maintain control systems and field communications (radios, modems, routers)
- Mentor junior techs and lead troubleshooting in the field
- Ensure system reliability, safety, and accurate documentation
What You Bring:
- 6+ years in I&E roles
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Modbus, and 4–20mA systems
- Solid troubleshooting and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurable record
