Edison Smart are supporting a leader in the energy and ClimateTech space as they continue to grow across the US. They are now looking to hire a lead building engineer based in the Boston Metro area. You will be an integral part of the team in MA and will have the opportunity to hire and grow a team around you.
The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation systems. Your role will involve working with the wider team to support their clients in adapting their buildings to work with the company’s energy management software.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site assessments of client buildings to estimate initial savings and integration costs
- Use modelling tools to complete energy analysis
- Manage installation and set up of projects from start to finish
- Establish communication between the software and field controllers
- Complete commission efforts
Requirements
- An academic background in Engineering
- Experience with building automation controls/systems
- Experience with managing install and integrating control systems
- Experience with MEP and control drawings
- Experience with Tridium Niagara
You must be accessible to the greater Boston area, for a minimum of 2 days per week.
