Edison Smart are actively looking to hire a Senior MEP Project Manager (Data Centers) for a growing Building Automation and MEP business located in the US.
Senior MEP Project Manager (Data Centers) oversee the design, integration, and commissioning of MEP Building Management Systems (BMS) across mission-critical data center facilities. This role is based in Goodyear, AZ supporting a major Blue-chip end user.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of BMS project delivery—planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.
- Coordinate between design engineers, controls contractors, commissioning agents, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective execution of building automation systems in accordance with data center specifications.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and commissioning reports.
- Oversee the integration of BMS with HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and security systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation strategies to improve energy efficiency and operational reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Building Automation or Controls Project Management, ideally in mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of BMS platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls).
- Proven experience managing automation systems for large-scale commercial or industrial facilities—data center experience highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
