This is a specific team at Edison supporting clients who are combating environmental issues via innovative IoT technology.
What we believe is so fascinating and revolutionary about this technology is that the IoT movement doesn’t only mean wearables and smartwatches. This technology has expanded to all sectors, including what we all must care about the most – the environment.
Edison consistently seeks out and evaluates new diverse sourcing channels. This is especially paramount for our Project Green team. Where possible Edison tries to source global talent that is local to environmental issues which is being addressed by our technology solution clients.
Environment Solutions
Connectivity and sensor technology helps create a greener world, and the tech world is beginning to see IoT devices increasing energy efficiency in homes, farms, hospitals and every workplace on the planet. IoT networks even allow us to monitor and combat energy pollution.
At Edison Smart we have two purposes; to deliver staffing solutions to the IoT community, and in turn, to support our clients who are making ground-breaking, world-changing solutions which will lessen our demands on the environment. We’re intrinsically tied to this community because it’s within all our interests on every level.
Environment Technology
To offer an insight, we partner with IoT clients who provide real-time solutions for water leakages in drought-ridden regions. These same clients have also developed sensor-based tech for water contamination situations. Edison’s customers assist hospitals and clinics in understanding the efficiencies and patient flow of their departments. They also enable highly populated buildings to become ‘smart’ in energy consumption and help the farming industry measure their carbon usage. ‘Smart Cities’ and ‘Smart Cars’ are the future we’ve all read about but are unsure how it works. All this progress and technology purpose has Edison Smart right in middle of it, making a vital contribution.
Our candidates are wholly motivated by the impact they can individually make on the IoT revolution.
