Our client is a growing Building Automation company based across the US.
They deliver high profile data center, healthcare and commerical office project and are looking to hire a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Design Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing contract plans, specifications, proposals, and budgets.
• Developing design project delivery schedule.
• Designing DDC control panels, wiring schematics, and system interfaces to control building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Selecting control system products
• Documenting system sequence of operations and operating parameters.
• Designing BMS communication networks.
• Developing electrical installation wiring diagrams and scopes of work.

Required skills:

• Knowledge of several control lines (i.e Distech, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, KMC)
• Niagara N4 / AX certification preferred
• Able to read and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and communication systems contract drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Visio and Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work on multiple projects and varying project teams.
• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
