Hardware Technician – Initial 6 months – Up to €80 per hour DoE – On site work in Wemding

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Technician to support advanced testing and validation of electronic hardware components. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of automotive systems through structured testing, analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware testing and validation on electronic components and systems.
• Set up, maintain, and operate test benches and laboratory equipment.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve hardware-related issues across different development stages.
• Interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings to support diagnostics and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to report and resolve defects or anomalies.
• Support the documentation of test procedures, findings, and recommendations.
• Assist in continuous improvement of test processes and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a similar hardware technician role, ideally within the automotive or electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of hardware testing methodologies, tools, and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and similar tools.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and schematics.
• Solid analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience with test automation tools or basic scripting (beneficial but not required).
• Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
