Position Summary We are seeking a strategic and commercially focused Managing Director to oversee operations and drive new business growth across Saudi Arabia and Africa. Based in Riyadh, the role requires a seasoned executive with a strong sales leadership background, deep market knowledge, and an established network within both government and enterprise sectors.
The Managing Director will be responsible for leading the regional team, expanding market presence, and developing strategic relationships across Private, Government, Oil & Gas, and Smart City sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale business operations across KSA, Morocco, and South Africa.
- Drive new business development and key account expansion within priority verticals.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships across government, enterprise, and public sector clients.
- Oversee a team of regional sales and operational leaders (5–6 direct reports).
- Deliver on revenue growth targets and margin expectations.
- Work closely with global functional teams to align local strategy with international goals.
- Represent the company at industry events and with senior government and enterprise stakeholders.
- Ensure operational excellence, team performance, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a Managing Director, Country Manager, or Regional Sales Director role.
- Background in IT, IoT, Telecommunications, or Systems Integration is essential.
- Strong leadership experience managing multi-country or multi-market teams.
- Extensive network and established relationships in Saudi Arabia, particularly within:
- Government
- Oil & Gas
- Smart Cities
- Large private sector entities
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to driving deals and closing complex projects.
- Experience working in highly matrixed, multinational environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Arabic fluency is a must have.
