Edison Smart is partnered with a Dubai based studio working on a cutting-edge multiplayer game with a team that values innovation and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced audio systems, including propagation, environmental effects, dialogue, and in-game debugging tools.
- Optimize performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure high-quality audio integration.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to support and enhance audio workflows.
- Test, debug, and maintain consistent audio functionality throughout development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in game audio programming, including interactive 3D audio and dialogue systems.
- Proficient with Wwise API and familiar with Unreal Engine.
- Solid understanding of audio systems across engine, gameplay, and tool layers.
- Experience with environmental audio, sound propagation, DSP, and custom audio systems.
- Knowledge of console constraints, audio rendering, compression, and codecs.
- Skills in sound design – editing, mixing, and implementing audio assets.
- Strong communicator and team player, able to work independently and document work effectively.
- Passion for games and high standards for testing and audio quality.
