As part of their continued growth in the Nashville area, we are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Building Automation Sytems Technician to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As the Senior Building Automation Technician, you’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Building Automation Systems (BAS), with a strong emphasis on Niagara N4 platforms.
You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure optimal performance and integration of building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and commission building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, access control, etc.)
- Configure and integrate Niagara N4-based systems, including JACE controllers and workstations
- Perform on-site system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Collaborate with engineers to develop control sequences and system designs
- Provide technical support and training to end users
- Maintain detailed records of system configurations and maintenance activities
Required Qualifications:
- Niagara N4 Certification (Tridium) — required
- 2+ years of experience in building automation or controls systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings
- Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and other communication protocols
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
